The Federal Bar Council (the ?Council?) is a 501(c)(6) membership organization of lawyers who practice in federal courts within the Second Circuit. The Council is dedicated to promoting excellence in federal practice and collegiality among federal practitioners. The Council has 3,000 members across the Second Circuit, and offers over 100 events and programs each year. The Council is joined by a sister 501(c)(3) foundation, and sponsors a chapter of the American Inns of Court.
