The company resells wholesale Internet service in North America through agreements with network operators such as Covad, enabling customers to resell Internet service under their own private brands. Clients include ISP's, as well as customers in such industries as health care, marketing, and higher education. IKANO serves broadband customers in California through subsidiary DSL Extreme. Other brands include Dialup USA and DNAMail. The company operates from satellite offices in Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington, DC. Founded in 1999, IKANO has received funding from investors including Insight Venture Partners.
