CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Our programs are aimed at high-need populations--including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed. In most cases, individuals in CASES'? programs would otherwise be sent to jail, prison, juvenile detention, or placement facilities. With a combination of community supervision and critical support services, our programs seek to interrupt the cycle of arrest, incarceration, release, and recidivism and help court-involved individuals make positive choices about their futures. Mission: The mission of the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) is to increase public safety through innovative services that reduce crime and incarceration, improve behavioral health, promote recovery and rehabilitation, and create opportunities for success in the community.
