The Children's Center

The Children's Center is a non-profit pediatric medical facility that specializes in caring for critically ill children with multiple disabilities. The center offers services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as nutrition, special education, and social services, to children ranging from birth to age 18. The facility provides inpatient rehabilitation and nursing care; it also operates a general pediatric clinic and provides specialty outpatient services. The Children's Center, which started as an orphanage in 1898, treats about 300 inpatients and 1,500 outpatients each year.
