Buying and selling is SalePoint's bread and butter. Founded in 1987, SalePoint provides retail point-of-sale software and implementation services for clients across the US. The company's software includes Retail Interact, an information management system that helps retailers with merchandise planning, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and other functions; Trovato, a point-of-sale software system for specialty retailers; and online cashiering and cash management applications for university business offices, public sector agencies, and health care providers. An IBM business partner, SalePoint resells IBM hardware, which it integrates with its own software to provide system implementations for clients.
