Not to be confused with the elite Special Air Service Regiment, SAS UK is part of the SAS International group of companies and a subsidiary of US-based SAS Institute. SAS UK develops and markets business intelligence software and technology services for a variety of sectors, including banking, manufacturing, government, and education, in the United Kingdom. The company's products include software and systems for activity-based management, customer-relationship management, data integration, financial intelligence, supply-chain intelligence, and Web analytics. SAS UK acquired law enforcement and fusion center intelligence management software maker Memex in June 2010.
