We began in 1995 as a small HR consulting company with a focus on providing on the job training for employees of small businesses. Our training focus quickly expanded to include the provision of recruiting and placement support for employers across all sectors. We work collaboratively with local, provincial and federal governments to develop and deliver successful employment programs. Since 1995 we have placed over 53,500 clients seeking work into long-term meaningful employment and provided thousands of employers with timely and relevant HR support. Many people ask what WCG stands for. WCG stands for “West Coast Group” in homage to our Vancouver Island roots. Over the years our reach and scope have expanded well beyond Victoria. We now work throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Mission: Our mission at WCG is simple: “we care about creating a better world—one person, one job, one community at a time.”
