Founded in 1973, Bren-Tronics, Inc. is a full one-stop-shop for energy storage applications including rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, smart chargers and complete power systems for customers around the world. Bren-Tronics' headquarters is on Long Island, NY. We also have a fuel cell company (UltraCell, LLC), based in Livermore, CA. The need for energy storage has grown in the past few years because of; increased power demands that overstress the existing electric distribution system, the introduction of electric vehicles and the introduction of renewable energy to the power grid. For renewables to fully penetrate the grid, energy storage is a key capability. Bren-Tronics is a company with a strong research and development lab, on-site rapid prototyping and test capabilities, state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities and a 40+year history of meeting the needs of demanding customers.
