Saratoga Partners

Saratoga Partners is interested in interests. The company makes private equity investments in the industrial manufacturing, business services, and information services industries, typically taking the sole or lead investor position. It targets mid-market US companies and participates in a variety of transactions including restructurings, management buyouts, and private investments in public equity. Saratoga Partners then works with management to build up its portfolio companies. Its assets include stakes in Advanced Lighting Technologies and assisted living management firm Emeritus Corporation. Saratoga was founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of Dillon Read and was spun off in 1998.
