Seton Hall University is a Catholic institution with an enrollment of approximately 10,000 students. The university offers about 150 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as more than a dozen doctoral programs, at eight colleges and schools, including the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations, Stillman School of Business, and Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. It also offers degree and certificate programs online. With a history dating back to 1856, Seton Hall University was named after Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American-born saint (and an aunt of school founder Bishop James Roosevelt Bayley).
