Duquesne University of The Holy Ghost keeps a keen eye on the spiritual as well as the academic. The school offers more than 100 undergraduate degree programs, about 65 graduate and professional degree programs, and more than 20 doctoral programs at schools of business, education, law, liberal arts, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, natural and environmental sciences, music, and leadership and professional advancement. Duquesne was founded in 1878 as the Pittsburgh Catholic College of the Holy Ghost. It has an annual enrollment of more than 10,000 undergraduate, graduate, and law students.
