Company Profile

Kent State University (KSU) knows all about remembering history so as not to repeat it, but while it embraces its past it also moves beyond it. The school offers some 300 majors, minors, and certificates in arts and sciences, business, technology, and other fields. Through eight campuses located in Northeastern Ohio, KSU educates some 33,600 students, making it Ohio's second-largest public university (behind Ohio State). The school was founded in 1910 for teacher training. Its Center for Peaceful Change (later renamed the Center for Applied Conflict Management) was formed after four KSU students were killed and nine wounded by the Ohio National Guard in 1970 amidst a protest of the US invasion of Cambodia.
