Hampden-Sydney College

Hampden-Sydney: Where men are men and women are guests." Hampden-Sydney College is a private four-year liberal arts college for men, with a student population of more than 1,000. The college offers undergraduate degrees in about 30 fields and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Its campus is about 60 miles southwest of Richmond, Virginia. Hampden-Sydney College was founded in 1775, and although the school is not co-educational its location places it in an area with 15 colleges and universities including four women's colleges -- providing ample opportunities to interact with the opposite sex.
