Hanover College is a private coeducational liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. The school offers bachelor's degrees in about 30 areas of study. Students, who are required to take four classes each fall and winter term, as well as one class during the spring term, can design their own majors as well. The school also offers pre-professional programs in areas of study such as medicine, law, and dentistry. Hanover College has an enrollment of approximately 1,000. The oldest private college in Indiana, it was founded in 1827 by the Rev. John Finley Crowe.
