Jubilee Association of Maryland was established as an outreach of Hyattsville Mennonite Church in 1978. Beginning with one group home we now serve 140 adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Although we still operate some small group homes owned by the corporation, all our growth in the last 15+ years has been through Maryland's Personal Supports funding. In this model, we serve people who live in a wide variety of settings of their choosing, such as in their parents' homes, in family homes after parents pass away, in apartments, townhomes and single family homes rented through partnerships with other public and private partners. We employ a highly diverse staff of about 285 staff, approximately half of whom are part-time. Mission: Jubilee Association of Maryland provides opportunities and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to live in and enrich their community while fulfilling their personal, family, social and spiritual needs.
