Azul Systems

Azul Systems is the world's only company exclusively focused on Java and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). We build fully-supported, standards-compliant Java runtimes for use cases ranging from enterprise and Cloud deployment to embedded systems and the so-called Internet of Things (IoT). Founded in 2002, we are a private company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California with worldwide offices and support centers. In 2005 we launched Vega, our hardware-based Java appliances. Since then our focus has been on software-based Java platforms. Zing was introduced in 2010, Zulu® in 2013, and Zulu® Embedded in 2015.
