Alma College is glad to show off its Gaelic garb. The school is a undergraduate liberal arts college situated on 100 acres in central Michigan and has an enrollment of about 1,400 students. Founded in 1886 by Presbyterians, the college has several Scottish traditions including a marching band clad in Kilts, a Scottish dance troupe, and its own official registered tartan. Each year Alma College hosts the Alma Highland Festival and Games, which feature traditional Scottish games and revelry.
