University of Redlands is a private liberal arts and sciences university. Its College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education are located in Southern California's City of Redlands; its School of Business is located on campus and in regional centers throughout Southern California. The university offers more than 40 undergraduate majors, about a dozen master's degree programs, a doctorate in leadership for educational justice, and professional credential and certificate programs. It has an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. University of Redlands was founded in 1907 on land donated by banker and Baptist layman Karl C. Wells and maintains an informal relationship with the American Baptist church.
