Explore Schools

Explore Schools is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit providing more than1,500 students in Brooklyn with the outstanding education they deserve. There are currently four schools in the Explore Schools network: Explore Charter School in Flatbush, Empower Charter School in Crown Heights, Excel Charter School in Canarsie, and Exceed Charter School in Prospect Heights. Our plan is to open six schools that will serve more than 3,000 students in Brooklyn. Mission: The mission of Explore Schools is to create and support a network of public schools in under-served communities that provides students with the academic skills and critical-thinking abilities they need to succeed in a college-preparatory high school.
