ABARTA doesn't put all of its businesses in one basket. The diverse holding company has four flagship subsidiaries that engage in the soft drink beverages, Asian frozen food products, newspaper publishing, and oil and gas exploration and development industries. Operations are driven through four Coca-Cola bottling companies; Kahiki Foods; ABARTA Oil & Gas; and the South Jersey Publishing Company, which publishes The Press of Atlantic City. ABARTA Beverage Group is among the nation's largest bottlers of Coca-Cola soft drinks, selling some 16 million cases a year from plants in Buffalo, New York; Cleveland; and Coatesville and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The company is owned by members of its founding families.
