Lehigh University (LU), nestled in eastern Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, offers about 90 undergraduate programs and majors at colleges of arts and sciences, business and economics, engineering and applied sciences, and education. It also offers more than 40 masters and doctoral degree programs, as well as certificate programs. More than half of students receive financial aid. Lehigh has an enrollment of nearly 7,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The university was founded in 1865 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Asa Packer.
