Tanaka of Tokyo Restaurants has been in business since 1978 and currently operates three high-volume, full service teppan-yaki restaurants in Waikiki and Ala Moana. Our locations are located in the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, the Ohana East Hotel, and in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. We are planning to aggressively expand our business of providing high quality, fine dining services in a fun and friendly environment in the future. We are proud of the fact that we have developed an excellent reputation throughout the years for our quality of service and dedication to providing our customers with an enjoyable dining experience. Tanaka of Tokyo Restaurants was named in the Honolulu Magazine as the "Best Japanese Restaurant" receiving the Hale Aina "Gold" Award from 2009-2012, and has consecutively won First Place from 2013-2018 in the Star Advertiser's People's Choice Awards for the "Best Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant". We are ranked as one of Hawaii Business Magazine's Top 250 companies based on sales for the past 6 consecutive years, and recognized on Yelp for operating two Four-and-a-half-Star, and Four-Star Restaurants.
