Omaze is an online fundraising platform that harnesses the power of dreams for good. Omaze offers people the chance to win incredible experiences and life-changing opportunities while benefiting nonprofits. The company has raised over $130M since founding to support the work of over 350 causes around the world. Omaze has given people the chance to win everything from a walk-on role in the latest Star Wars movie, to VIP seats at a Spice Girls concert with Emma Stone, to a brand new customized Mercedes Sprinter Van. A $10 donation through Omaze opens up these opportunities to a global base of donors, and goes to support the work of incredible nonprofits. Omaze was founded in 2012 by Matt Pohlson and Ryan Cummins, to combat what they saw as inefficiencies in the fundraising space. Nonprofits were being penalized for investing in top talent, marketing and tech that could exponentially increase their fundraising abilities. So they set out to launch Omaze. Omaze’s for-profit model makes these investments on charities’ behalf, and are proven to drive 2 - 10x their traditional methods. Omaze offers a full suite of services - from legal and operations, to an award winning in-house content and marketing team, to a product and engineering team and more - all of which work together to ensure that we are delivering a seamless donor experience and raise as much as possible for the causes we work with.
