Mt. San Antonio College broadens the horizons of students in the Land of Milk and Honey. The junior college east of Los Angeles serves 20 San Gabriel Valley communities including the cities of Pomona, Irwindale, Walnut, and Covina, among others. Established in 1946, the school is the largest single-campus community college in California, offering more than 200 academic degree and vocational certificate programs in areas ranging from the arts to business to social sciences to technology. The college's student enrollment is about 40,000, of whom some 25,000 are full-time. About 40% of the school's students are Hispanic.
