Layton Construction has managed to keep its foundation in the construction industry. The company mostly serves the western US and provides commercial and industrial construction, construction management, general contracting and design/build delivery systems, and drafting. The family-owned company, now a subsidiary of The Layton Companies, was founded in 1953 by Alan W. Layton. The firm has worked on airports, hospitals, factories, schools, laboratories, and sports facilities. Projects include the Brigham Young University Fine Arts Museum, a renovation of Boise State University's Bronco Stadium, and Salt Lake City's Olympic speed skating oval. Layton Construction has offices in Arizona, Boise, Irvine, San Jose, Hawaii, Nashville, and Utah.
