Would a perfumer by any other name smell as sweet? Inter Parfums certainly hopes not. Most of the fragrance developer and manufacturer's revenue is generated by sales of its prestige fragrance brands, including Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Montblanc, Nickel, S.T. Dupont, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Paul Smith. It also sells moderately priced perfumes, personal care products, and cosmetics for specialty retailers, including The Gap, bebe stores, Brooks Brothers, and Anthropologie. The firm owns Lanvin Perfumes and upscale men's skin care firm Nickel. Customers include department stores, mass merchandisers (Wal-Mart Stores), and drugstore chains. The company's scents are sold in more than 120 countries.
