Cognitive Medical Systems was founded to change the healthcare system in the US through innovative software solutions, platforms and tools. We’re 8 years old, based in San Diego. Cognitive is both a professional services and software products company. Our general business model is to deliver healthcare IT professional services contracts for the health delivery systems to grow the company, build our technology talent base and to have those professional service contracts fund some of the R&D we need to develop software products. Cognitive Medical Systems develops enterprise-grade clinical decision support tools and applications. Cognitive Medical Systems also offers solutions for automation of documents, processing and managing order entry, custom software solutions, enterprise interoperability solutions, clinical decision support platforms, end-user applications, and maintenance of electronic health care records. Mission: What we do may sound serious and sound rather well, clinical, but how we do it and the people we do it with are our most valued assets. Our culture and our transparency is what we continue to improve upon while seeking out new technologies and the subject matter experts to lead us in those directions.
