Clyde Companies

This Clyde is on the "most wanted" list for road construction. Clyde Companies operates through its subsidiaries, including heavy civil construction firm W. W. Clyde & Co., which builds highways, bridges, power plants, dams, and other projects through the Intermountain West. Other subsidiaries include aggregate producers Geneva Rock Products and Gorge Rock; construction products manufacturer Sunroc; and Beehive Insurance, which provides insurance products geared to the construction industry and other clients. Family-owned Clyde Companies traces its roots to 1927, when a construction company was established by Wilford W. Clyde, the grandfather of current company president and CEO Wilford Clyde II.
