Timbercon has nothing to do with falling trees and everything to do with fiber optics. The company develops and manufactures fiber-optic cables and other products for the aerospace/defense, industrial, medical, and telecommunications industries. Its cables, loopbacks, couplers, splitters, and attenuators are used in harsh environments, such as scientific research and development, military testing and measurement, and broadband networking. In addition to its products, Timbercon offers services that include consulting, contract manufacturing, product design, and repair, testing, and analysis on fiber-optic products. Founded in 1997, Timbercon is privately owned by its employees.
