SK Energy

SK Innovation (formerly known as SK Energy) is the energy, lubricants, and chemicals affiliate of South Korea's SK Group. Korea's largest oil refiner, SK Innovation controls about 34% of Korea's fuel retailing market. The firm holds stakes in 30 oil exploration and production projects in 16 countries and has proved reserves of more than 500 million barrels of oil equivalent. It imports liquid petroleum gas (LPG), and claims a 44% share of the Korean LPG market. SK Innovation supplies natural gas to Seoul and other cities in Korea. The company also makes lubricants, low-pollutant gasoline, petrochemicals, and batteries for electric vehicles.
