What is Shoeboxed? Shoeboxed is a document management service that scans and organizes receipts, business cards and other paperwork into a searchable and extractable cloud database. We help small businesses and entrepreneurs go get organized, manage expenses and maximize tax deductions by turning paper receipts into usable data. How Does Shoeboxed Work? Users send Shoeboxed their receipts, business cards, bills and other documents using a variety of submission methods, including physical mail-in, email forwarding, through our mobile app, and more. Once the document is submitted for ?processing?, everything is carefully sorted and scanned into a secure online account. All of the organized data, including an IRS-accepted image of each document, is then human-verified, categorized, accessible from anywhere and ready for export into dozens of powerful tools, including: QuickBooks, Xero, Wave Accounting, Outright, ScanSnap, Evernote, and dozens of other programs.
