The company is among the largest crop insurers; it is an underwriter for multiple lines of insurance for agents and rural policyholders in Canada and the US. Covering family farms to corporate farms its products run the gamut from low farm revenue to agribusiness risk management, from crop hail insurance to livestock risk protection. The company also provides claims adjusting and accounting services. It operates about 10 divisional offices across the US, as well as in Canada. Rain and Hail was acquired by ACE Limited in 2010.
