NovAtel

NovAtel makes Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and related components for aerospace guidance and navigation, precision agriculture, surveying and mapping, and other applications. The company's products include GPS antennas, receiver units, and signal generators designed for use on land, sea, and in the air. NovAtel's customers have included Leica Geosystems, Beijing BDStar, and YC International. The parent company of Leica Geosystems, Hexagon, acquired NovAtel for $390 million in 2008. Based in Sweden, Hexagon provides surveying equipment and other measurement tools, as well as polymer products including gaskets.
