More Children. Prepared for School. Prepared for Life. Through our partnerships, we have made great strides toward our goal of providing access to high-quality early learning opportunities across our communities. Even more exciting than the progress we have made, is the potential the Collaborative holds to impact many more child care providers across Nebraska and beyond. In addition to continuing to work to strengthen and grow our Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership, NECC looks forward to extending our business services and professional development opportunities to new providers in the coming years. NECC also serves as a central point of intake for a community collaboration in Douglas County referred to as the Community Response Program (CRP). Through a collaborative effort with other leaders in the community, the Community Response Program promotes child well-being and provides a prevention system to create safe, quality environments for children and families. NECC?s Teen & Young Parent Program works to provide families with young children the support to live healthy lives and works to increase educational outcomes for the parents and their children. Some of the services provided through this program include pregnancy testing, counseling, childbirth and parenting classes, tutoring and study groups, transportation assistance, job search support and doula services. Mission:?The Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative harnesses the potential of providers to deliver high-quality early learning opportunities through access to business resources, innovative partnerships, and educational support.
