Jefferson Hills has successfully served Colorado?s children, youth, and families through short and long term residential programs and day treatment for almost 30 years. Thousands of boys and girls have received our behavioral health, education, and medical services. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, Jefferson Hills has experienced great difficulty retaining an adequate workforce and receiving adequate rates. To continue to meet our mission, which continues to be much needed, we consolidated our programs in October 2019. This allows us to continue our mission through our short term, crisis stabilization programs and day treatment with better staff ratios which has improved staff morale and customer service. We believe there is no greater good than impacting a child?s life by providing safety, predictability, coping skills, and hope. For those of you that have positive experiences at Jefferson Hills, we are committed to the growth and development of our staff, advocating for fair wages and benefits, and providing training and skills to find this type of work rewarding and meaningful. For those of you that have struggled with your experience at Jefferson Hills, we wish you the best as you find your path either working with at-risk children and youth in some other capacity or in a new career path. Mission:?Jefferson Hills provides safe and supportive treatment programs and learning environments, preparing children, adolescents, and families in need of mental health, human services, and/or youth corrections services, to function more effectively in their communities.
