The company, which got its Gems moniker from the names of its founders Gordon Seigle and Ed Moore, is a leading global manufacturer of liquid level, flow, and pressure sensors, and solid-state relays and barriers. It designs, develops, and manufactures hundreds of products for the environmental/process controls and tool and component markets. Individual items include continuous level transmitters, pressure transducers, safe relays, solenoid valves, turbine sensors, and switches for temperature, float type level, and flow. Gems Sensors is a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation.
