Florida Grand Opera is a non-profit performing arts organization. Our offices, shops, and rehearsal facility is located in Doral, FL. The company performs 4 opera each year at both the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to opera production, the company is committed to offering a unique variety of educational programs in the community. This includes but not limited to, student dress rehearsals, in classroom presentations, adult education, and programs specifically designed to serve children with disabilities or at risk. In 1984 the company launched its Young Artist Program. This highly competitive program has gained worldwide recognition as one of the leading operatic training programs. The program provides talented young singers with an opportunity to refine the skills developed during formal music education, targeting those areas necessary to develop a successful career in opera.
