Dakota State University (DSU) was founded in 1881 as a teacher-training institute. The school changed its mission in 1984 and began specializing in programs in computer management and computer information systems. It also offers dozens of majors in business, science, and education, as well as graduate degrees in information systems and computer education and technology. DSU enrolls more than 2,300 students.
