Fans of chicken wings might be able to get into this zone. WZ Franchise Corporation is the franchisor of Wing Zone quick-service restaurants that specialize in Buffalo style chicken wings. The chain's menu also includes burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Focused on delivery and take-out service, most of the eateries are found in strip shopping malls and other in-line retail locations. Wing Zone has about 100 locations in Florida and about two dozen other states. CEO Matt Friedman and Adam Scott opened their first Wing Zone restaurant in 1991 near the University of Florida.
