Turner Investment Partners manages separate accounts and a dozen mutual funds (the Turner Funds), employing global/international, long/short, value, growth, quantitative, and alternative strategies. It has more than $12 billion in assets under management, invested mainly in equities. Customers include institutional, international, individual, and private investors. Established in 1990, the employee-owned firm filed to go public in 2007 but withdrew its offering the following year, citing market conditions. Brothers Bob and Mark Turner (chairman and chief investment officer and president and senior portfolio manager, respectively) are among the firm's founders.
