Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana opened in January 1992 as one of the few freestanding rehabilitation hospitals in Indiana. RHI has the backing of two of the largest and most well respected health care organizations in the state: Indiana University Health and St. Vincent health. RHI is a specialty based rehabilitation facility, where RHI patients work with therapists and nurses trained in the treatment of their particular diagnosis. The majority of our patients return to their home environment after discharge from RHI. We had 4 inpatient units that care for patients with Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury and Comprehensive Medical conditions. As acute rehabilitation center, patients will receive 3 hours of therapy a day, 5 of 7 days per week.
