The company's products include wired and wireless card readers, card printers and embossers, and software. Casinos, financial institutions, retailers, and government offices among others use machinery made by NBS Technologies to generate smart cards used by both customers and employees. The company serves clients in such markets as entertainment, financial, government, health care, and telecommunications. It also makes wafer handling equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. NBS Technologies was taken private by Brookfield Asset Management in 2006.
