Millennium Pharmacy

Millennium Pharmacy Systems (or MPS) has a long-term technology solution for the long-term care industry. Its MPSRx system incorporates wireless technology with Web-based software that helps doctors, nurses, and facility administrators order and manage patient prescriptions from the nursing home to the pharmacy through an automated system that reduces human error and delay in drug delivery. MPS sells its technology directly through contracts to skilled nursing providers. It maintains an in-house retail pharmacy, as well as three satellite pharmacies in Maryland and Pennsylvania. The privately-held company was founded in 2002.
