Its applications ease and automate such processes as spend analysis, sourcing, contract management, and procurement. Its Ketera Network combines the company's spend management software with a public marketplace of nearly one million businesses, both buyers and suppliers. The company sells through suppliers and partners such as ThomasNet. Customers have included Axciom, Kennametal, and The Washington Post Company. Ketera was acquired in 2010 by Rearden Commerce, an online marketplace for purchasing and managing services.
