I have defended and prosecuted cases at the Superior Court level in Pierce, King, Mason and Kitsap counties and at the Court of Appeals. Historically, I have been known in the community as a business and real estate attorney for both litigation and transactions. Many don?t know that I also handle estate planning as well as probate and will and trust litigation. I also handle trust management (as trustee), contingent judgment enforcement, personal injury (motor vehicle accidents) and workers compensation. On trust management, I pride myself on the firm?s success in removing and replacing large corporate trustees who are overcharging trusts for their services and are not providing the flexibility that is needed for the beneficiary to inexpensively and timely draw income from the trust to maintain a decent standard of living. As to contingent judgment enforcement, my clients are thrilled to have our firm pursue recovery on judgments without paying out of pocket for more legal work after, in most cases, having already expended substantial funds in litigation to obtain the judgment. Personal injury and workers compensation are my primary practice areas. I am pleased to provide to my personal injury and workers compensation clients the same level of client care and responsiveness that my real estate and business clients expect and receive. I do not operate an injury claim mill; every injury case is assigned to me and one paralegal and we strive to be responsive to our clients and keep them informed of their case and the process. Of course, these cases are contingent so we are only paid when the client is paid.
