Practice Makes Perfect (PMP) is a Benefit Corporation that partners K-12 schools to operate high-impact programs before, during, and after school hours. PMP was founded in 2010 at Cornell University by a first-generation college student to pay forward the blessings he received in route to attaining his college degree. Since 2010, PMP has served over 10,000 low-income children, created over 1,000 seasonal jobs, and trained over 500 aspiring educators. PMP has been recognized by former president Bill Clinton, Echoing Green, TED, Beespace, The Global Good Fund, Forbes 30 Under 30, Points of Light Civic Accelerator, The Global Social Benefit Institute Accelerator, The Clinton Global Initiative, The Gratitude Award Network, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, and Hearts on Fire.
