Fujimi Corporation is in the fine powder business. And it's perfectly legal. A subsidiary of Japan's Fujimi Incorporated, the company supplies ultra fine, precision graded abrasives and polishing compounds to semiconductor manufacturers and makers of glass, ceramic, and metal products. Fujimi claims a significant share of the global market for silicon wafer lapping powders used to manufacture substrates. The company also makes nickel plated and CMP (chemical-mechanical planarization) polishes, which use abrasives and corrosive slurries to create a flat surface. It also sells wheels and pads used with its products. Fujimi has two plants in the US which make products for North American and global markets.
