Enterprise Florida

Enterprise Florida, Inc., (EFI) is a not-for-profit partnership between state government and the private sector that is dedicated to boosting Florida's economic development. The partnership works to attract, retain, and grow businesses in Florida, focusing on such sectors as clean energy, life sciences, information technology, aerospace, defense, financial services, and manufacturing. EFI also assists small and midsize businesses expand international trade by providing information, consulting, networking opportunities, and financial assistance. EFI's marketing arm ensures that the state projects a pro-business image. The partnership was founded in 1996 by the Florida Legislature.
