Enerplus Corp. (formerly Enerplus Resources Fund) has diverse portfolio of oil and gas assets. The company's oil portfolio includes high growth opportunities in the Bakken/Three Forks resource play in North Dakota, as well as stable, low decline crude oil production from a variety of crude oil waterflood properties across Western Canada. Their natural gas assets include a concentrated land position in the Marcellus shale gas region in the U.S., one of the most economic dry natural gas plays in North America. They also have a growing undeveloped natural gas land position in the liquids rich Deep Basin area in Western Canada in addition to other conventional natural gas and oil production throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. In 2014, the company grew proved plus probable reserves by 7%, to 429 MMBOE - a 175% production replacement. At current production rates Enerplus estimates it has approximately 13 years of organic reserve replacement.
