Elvis Presley Enterprises

Elvis may have permanently left the building, but his legacy is still taking care of business. Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE) manages the late singer's estate and licenses his name, likeness, and songs for a variety of commercial purposes. Revenue mostly comes from operating Presley's Graceland mansion in Memphis. The company runs tours at Graceland, and also operates the associated museum, visitor's center, and the Heartbreak Hotel. EPE was created in 1981 (four years after Presley's death) and was owned by The Elvis Presley Trust. EPE and The Elvis Presley Trust were wholly owned by Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, until 2005 when she sold an 85% stake to entertainment investor Robert Sillerman's CKX.
